Infecting a Villager
Villagers can become vampires or werewolves through exposure to infected mobs or players. If you're playing as a vampire or werewolf, approach a villager and allow the infection to spread through bites or werewolf attacks. The villager will retain their custom skin, name, and personality throughout the transformation.
What Changes After Infection
Once transformed, your villager gains faction-specific abilities:
- Vampire villagers develop glowing red eyes and can bite targets in combat
- Werewolf villagers gain wolf ears, claws, and physical wolf traits
- Both types keep their original MCA relationships and family trees intact
- Their trade prices and dialogue options shift based on your faction alignment
Important Notes
Infected villagers will only follow commands from players of their matching faction. A vampire villager won't obey werewolf player commands, and vice versa. If you want to change a villager back to human form, use the curing ritual instead of letting the infection spread further.
