How to Propose and Get Married in MarriagePlus

Sending a Proposal

To start a relationship, you need to send a marriage request to another player. Use the base marriage command (check /Marry for the exact subcommand on your server) and target the player you want to propose to. The plugin will deliver a request they can accept or deny.

Before you propose, keep these things in mind:

  • You cannot marry yourself — the plugin blocks self-targeting automatically.
  • If the server has a spouse limit configured, you may be blocked from proposing once you reach it.

Accepting a Proposal

When someone proposes to you, you'll receive a notification in chat. Accept it with the confirmation command shown in that message (typically an accept/confirm subcommand under /Marry). Once accepted, both players are registered as spouses.

After marriage, you unlock partner-only interactions such as the kiss command. Run /Marry with no arguments to see the full command list available to you, including any spouse-only actions your server has enabled.
