Recruiting and Managing Mercenaries

Find taverns spawning naturally in Plains biomes to recruit mercenaries. Purchase special contracts from the Tavernkeeper to hire companions from four classes: Mages (ranged spellcasting), Archers (ranged physical), Warriors (melee defense), and Assassins (high single-target damage).

Your mercenaries level up as they defeat enemies, gaining improved combat stats over time. Customize their equipment by opening their inventory screen to change weapons and armor. Mage mercenaries can learn spells from other magic mods in your modpack, expanding their combat capabilities.

Taverns automatically incorporate blocks and items from popular food and furniture mods, creating varied aesthetics across your world.
