Teleport to Another Player with /tpa

Sending a Teleport Request

The /tpa command lets you request to teleport to another player. The target player must accept your request before the teleport happens.

To request teleportation:

1. Type /tpa <player_name> in chat, replacing <player_name> with the exact username of the player you want to visit

2.

3. If they accept, you'll be teleported to their location

Accepting Teleport Requests

When another player sends you a /tpa request, you'll see a message in chat. Use /tpaccept to allow them to teleport to you, or /tpdeny to refuse.

Important notes:

  • The target player must actively accept—teleports don't happen automatically
  • This prevents unwanted teleportation and griefing on multiplayer servers
  • You can only teleport to players who are currently online
  • Some servers may have cooldowns or restrictions on teleport frequency
