Equipping Your Ability
Before you can cast magic, you need to select an ability. Press Alt + Y to open your ability wheel. This radial menu displays all powers you've unlocked in your current pathway. Click or navigate to highlight the ability you want to use, then confirm your selection.
Casting Magic
With an ability equipped, press M to cast it. The ability will activate immediately, consuming any required resources (mana, stamina, or special items depending on the power). Different abilities have different effects—some deal damage, others provide buffs, summon effects, or alter the environment.
Managing Griefing
Some abilities can break or modify blocks. If you want to prevent accidental terrain destruction, press K to toggle block breaking on or off for your skills. This is useful in multiplayer or when building.
Practice and Experimentation
Try different abilities in safe areas first. Each power has unique cooldowns and effects. Check your Introspect menu (press J) to review ability descriptions and plan your combat strategy.
