How to Change the Loot Journal Keybind and Position

If the default key conflicts with another mod or the overlay sits somewhere awkward, you can adjust both without editing files.

Rebinding the Toggle Key

Open Options, then Controls, then find the Loot Journal keybind entry. Click it and press the key you want. Avoid keys already used by inventory, chat, or your other HUD mods. Confirm and return to the game to test the new key.

Moving the Overlay

Most HUD-style mods let you drag the panel. Open the journal, then click and drag its header or body to reposition it. If dragging is not supported in your build, check the mod's config screen for position or offset options and nudge the values until it sits where you want.

Reducing Clutter

• Shrink the list or limit how many entries show if a config option exists.
• Move the journal to a screen corner away from your health, hunger, and hotbar.
• Toggle it off when you do not need it rather than leaving it permanently visible.

After any change, pick up an item to confirm the journal still updates correctly in its new spot.
