Running Loot Integrations on a Multiplayer Server Without Client Mods

Install only on the server

This addon is server-side only, so it belongs in the server's mods folder, not in each player's client. Players connecting with a vanilla or lightly modded client will still receive the altered loot, because loot generation happens entirely on the server. The only requirement is that the server itself has Loot Integrations, this addon, and the relevant structure mods loaded.

Handle missing mods gracefully

Because the addon uses conditional loot entries, a player or the server does not need every referenced mod for the addon to function. Entries pointing at absent mods are simply skipped, and the chest falls back to the remaining pool. This makes the addon safe to add to an existing server mid-world: no client updates, no world reset, and no crash from missing dependencies.

Communicate the change to players

Existing chests will not change, so tell players that only newly generated structures use the new loot. If you want the whole world to benefit, you need fresh chunks. Also warn players not to expect new items in their inventory screens or recipe viewers — the addon changes what chests contain, not what items exist. Any item that appears must already be provided by a mod installed on the server.
