Fixing Empty or Unchanged Chests in Moog's Structures

Check whether the structure is covered

Not every structure from these mods is necessarily patched by this addon. If a chest contains exactly the same items as it did before you installed the addon, that structure's loot table is probably not in the addon's scope, or another mod is overwriting it. Compare a chest in a different structure type from the same mod — if one changed and one did not, you have found the boundary of the addon's coverage.

Rule out datapack conflicts

Loot tables are datapack resources. Any datapack in the world's datapacks folder that also modifies the same structure loot tables will compete with this addon. Disable other loot datapacks temporarily and regenerate a fresh test world to see the addon's output in isolation. Remember that changing loot tables only affects chests generated after the change — existing chests keep whatever they rolled when the chunk was created.

Regenerate rather than repair

There is no in-game command to re-roll an already-generated chest through this addon. To see the new loot, travel to ungenerated chunks and find a fresh instance of the structure, or create a new world. If you are testing repeatedly, use a superflat or void test world with the structure mod's spawn settings so you can reach new structures quickly without travelling far.
