How to Get Better Loot from Dungeons and Taverns Chests
What This Mod Actually Changes
Loot Integrations: Dungeons And Taverns does not add new chests or structures. Instead, it rewrites the loot tables that Dungeons and Taverns (and its addons) already uses, so the same chests you already loot now roll from a richer pool. That pool is drawn from comparable vanilla loot tables plus items registered by other installed mods.
Steps to See the Improved Loot
1. Install Dungeons and Taverns (or one of its overhaul addons) alongside this mod. Without the base structure mod, there is nothing for the integration to patch.
2. Generate a fresh world or explore chunks you have never loaded. Loot tables are rolled when a chest is first opened, but structure generation and loot table assignment happen at chunk generation, so old explored chunks may already be locked in.
3. Find a supported structure: a dungeon, tavern, pillager outpost, stronghold, swamp hut, ocean monument, jungle or desert temple, woodland mansion, ancient city, or End castle depending on which addons you run.
4. Open chests normally. You should notice modded gear, extra consumables, and more varied stacks than the vanilla defaults.
If Loot Looks Unchanged
Check that the matching addon for the structure you are looting is installed. The base mod patches Dungeons and Taverns structures; the addon overhauls each patch their own structures separately. Looting a structure whose overhaul you skipped will give you the original loot.
