Connect Microchips to Chests, Tanks, and Power Systems

Linking External Devices

Microchips aren't isolated—they connect to the world around them.

1. Build your logic circuit inside the Microchip menu

2. Use the edge ports on the Microchip block to connect to external redstone lines

3. Position the Microchip adjacent to item chests, fluid tanks, or energy power banks

4. Configure input/output ports in the Microchip menu to read from or write to these devices

5. Your logic can now control item sorting, fluid routing, or power distribution

Practical Uses

Create a sorting system where your circuit reads items from a chest and directs them to different outputs. Build a fluid manager that monitors tank levels and activates pumps. Design an energy router that balances power between multiple batteries.

Testing Connections

Hover over port connections in the menu to verify which external device each port links to. Adjust your circuit logic based on the signals you receive from connected blocks.
