Make Use of Extra Stone Blocks from Mining

Convert Excess Stone into Tools

When mining for ores or building materials, you accumulate stone blocks that might otherwise clutter your inventory or storage. Instead of discarding them, convert excess stone into a complete tool set. This is especially useful for materials like andesite, diorite, and granite that you mine frequently but don't always need for building.

Create Tool Sets for Different Tasks

Craft specialized tools for specific jobs. Make a pickaxe from one stone type for mining, an axe from another for wood gathering, and a shovel from a third for terraforming. Since different stones have different durability levels, you can optimize each tool for its intended use.

Stock Up for Long Mining Trips

Before heading deep underground, craft several backup tools from stones you've collected. This way, when your primary tool breaks, you have replacements ready without needing to return to base. It's an efficient way to use stone that would otherwise sit unused in your inventory.
