How Lives Work

Limited Lives Mod restricts how many times you can die in your world. Each death costs you one life and permanently reduces your maximum health by removing hearts from your health bar. You start with a set number of lives determined by the server or world settings.

When you die, you respawn normally but with fewer hearts available. Once all lives are exhausted, you either enter Spectator mode permanently or face a temporary ban from the server, depending on your server's configuration.

Use /ll to check your remaining lives and any active respawn bans. Admins can adjust player lives with /ll set <player> <deaths>. This mod significantly increases survival difficulty by making each death a permanent setback.
