How to Use Light Aura in the Nether and Deep Ocean

Nether Travel Without Blaze Spawns

The Nether is dark, cramped, and full of mobs that punish you for fumbling with torches. With the Light Aura Mod, hold a light source in your hand and your immediate surroundings stay lit while you bridge, mine netherrack, or navigate bastion corridors. Because you are not placing blocks, you avoid accidentally lighting up a piglin area or blocking a path.

Steps:

1. Bring a light source that survives the environment — glowstone, a lantern, or a sea lantern are safe choices.

2. Hold it while you travel. The aura moves with you, so lava lakes and dark ceilings stay visible.

3. Drop the source when you want a fixed beacon at a portal, a fork in a tunnel, or a bridge junction. Dropped sources keep glowing, so you can mark your route and retrieve them later.

Deep Ocean Dives

Underwater, placing torches is impossible and glowstone placement is awkward. Holding a sea lantern or glowstone gives you a moving bubble of light while you swim through monuments, shipwrecks, and ravines. Keep the source in your off hand so your main hand stays free for a pickaxe or trident. If you find a spot worth returning to, drop the source there as a permanent underwater marker.
