Finding and Planting Beans and Peanuts

Beans and peanuts grow wild in temperate areas. Search grassy biomes to find wild patches of both crops. Harvest these wild plants to obtain seeds for your own farm.

Once you have seeds, plant them in farmland like regular crops. For beans, you can place ropes above your crops to enable continuous harvesting—the beans will climb the ropes as they grow, letting you gather them repeatedly without replanting.

After harvesting, you can cook your crops into meals. Beans become dishes like baked beans and chili, while peanuts can be crushed into peanut butter for use in cookies, cups, and sandwiches. These protein-rich foods offer a meat-free alternative to traditional farming.
