Finding and Leveling Relics

Relics are rare artifacts found exclusively in world structures—they cannot be crafted. Search jungle temples, desert pyramids, ancient cities, nether fortresses, mineshafts, and other dungeons to discover them. The Blade of Seth spawns only once per world in the first desert pyramid you open. The Sunpiercer can be purchased from Wandering Traders or found in boss chests.

Each relic levels up through combat use, growing stronger as you fight. Tooltips display exact damage types—physical, magic, or pure—so you know what you're dealing with. Many relics offer active skills you can trigger in battle, while others provide passive bonuses. If optional mods like Blood Magic or Iron's Spells & Spellbooks are installed, certain relics gain additional mechanics tied to those systems.
