Building an Excursion Table

The Excursion Table is a special block that lets you send companions on timed missions to gather resources, gain experience, and discover structure coordinates.

1. Craft or find an Excursion Table

2. Place it near your base

3. Open the table's interface

4. Select a companion and choose a mission duration

Mission Rewards

When your companion returns, they bring:

• Experience points (advancing their level)
• Gathered materials and loot
• Coordinates to nearby structures (dungeons, temples, strongholds)
• Unique items based on the biome or mission type

Strategy Tips

Send companions on excursions while you work on other tasks—missions run on a timer and don't require your presence. Longer missions typically yield better rewards but take more time. Different biomes and mission types produce different loot, so experiment to find what resources you need most.

Excursions also provide a steady source of XP, helping your companion level even when you're not actively adventuring together.
