Finding the Merchant

The Ogre Merchant travels throughout the world and isn't tied to a single location. Search near outposts and along common paths. Look for a distinct merchant structure or NPC. You may need to explore multiple biomes or return to the same area at different times.

What the Merchant Offers

The Merchant sells rare items, maps to the Ogre Fort, and most crucially—Ogre Truces. A truce temporarily pacifies the tribe, stopping hunting patrols and allowing anger to reset. This is invaluable if you've raided aggressively and need breathing room.

Currency Requirements

Trades require specific ogre coins or currency. Loot outposts and defeated ogres to gather the necessary payment. Stock up on coins before seeking the Merchant, as you may not encounter them again immediately.

The Merchant is your safest path to obtaining a Fort Map if you want to avoid raiding multiple outposts.
