Using Ore Crops with Applied Energistics

Connecting Your Farm to ME Storage

If your modpack includes Applied Energistics support, you can integrate your ore farm directly into your ME network for seamless automation.

Setup Steps

1. Harvest ore crops and collect the drops

2. Route collected ores through an ME import bus or storage bus

3. Connect the bus to your ME network using cables

4. Ores will automatically sort into your ME system based on configured priorities

5. Access all stored ores from any ME terminal in your network

Workflow Tips

Set up separate import buses for different ore types if you want to organize them by category. Use ME level emitters to trigger growth acceleration systems when ore levels drop below a threshold. Create a dedicated storage cell for ore crops to keep them separate from other resources. If your farm produces more ores than you need, configure export buses to send excess to processing stations or trading posts automatically.
