Finding and Preparing Fossils

Fossils are buried underground throughout your world. Mine in caves, ravines, and deep stone layers to find fossil blocks. Once extracted, place the fossil into a DNA Extractor machine in your lab.

Running the Extraction Process

The DNA Extractor will process the fossil over time, gradually converting it into usable DNA. You'll see progress as the machine works. Different fossil types yield different DNA strands—some are common, others rare. Store extracted DNA in special containers to keep it safe and organized.

Tip: Extract multiple fossils at once if you have the lab space. Rarer dinosaur species require DNA from specific fossil types, so explore widely to build your collection.
