What Are Binding Vows

Binding vows are special pacts that modify your cursed techniques and stats in exchange for restrictions or costs. They let you customize your character's power distribution—trading defense for offense, or cursed energy capacity for technique cooldown reduction.

Accessing the Binding Vow Menu

Open the mod's binding vow selection screen from your main menu or character interface. You'll see available vows listed with their effects and conditions clearly displayed. Each vow shows what you gain and what you sacrifice, so plan carefully before committing.

Optimizing Your Vows

Different vows synergize with different clans and playstyles. A damage-focused build might pair well with vows that boost technique power at the cost of health regeneration. Defensive builds benefit from vows that increase durability. You can typically active multiple vows simultaneously, but each has diminishing returns. Experiment with combinations to find what works best for your preferred combat approach.
