Starting Your First Day

Manage Thirst and Temperature Immediately

Unlike vanilla survival, you must monitor two new bars from spawn: thirst and temperature. Find water quickly to drink and stay hydrated. Avoid extreme heat or cold environments, or you'll take damage.

Gather Resources Slowly

Basic tasks work differently here. Punching trees and mining stone are much slower than normal, so plan your gathering trips carefully. Your starter tools are weak, making early-game progression intentionally difficult.

Progress Through Tool Tiers

Work your way up from weak starter tools to copper, then bronze, and finally steel. As you upgrade, resource gathering becomes faster and easier. Build machines like the sawmill to process materials more efficiently and speed up your advancement.
