Turn On VynixShader In-Game with Iris or OptiFine
VynixShader is a shader pack, so it needs a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine. It does not go in the resourcepacks folder.
Put the Pack in the Right Folder
1. Launch Minecraft with your shader loader active.
2. Open Options > Video Settings.
- Iris: click Shader Packs.
- OptiFine: click Shaders.
3. Click the button that opens the shader pack folder. This opens the shaderpacks folder in your game directory.
4. Drop the VynixShader pack file into that folder. Leave it zipped unless it is already a folder.
5. Go back to the game. The pack should now show in the list.
Activate and Check It Works
1. Select VynixShader in the shader list and click Apply or Done. The world may freeze briefly while the shaders compile.
2. Load a world and check for the pack's signature changes:
- Soft shadows cast by trees and buildings.
- Smooth reflections on water.
- Warmer light around torches at night.
3. Your blocks should still look like vanilla Minecraft. VynixShader keeps the classic art style and changes only the lighting.
If nothing changes, check that the shader toggle is on in the loader menu. Also check that you put the file in shaderpacks, not resourcepacks.
