Keep Steady FPS with VynixShader on a Mid-Range PC
VynixShader is built to run smoothly on medium setups. Its lighting calculations are optimized to hold steady framerates on mid-range hardware. If you still get stutters, a few vanilla and loader settings usually fix them.
Tune Vanilla Video Settings First
1. Open Options > Video Settings.
2. Lower Render Distance a few chunks. Shadows and reflections cost more the farther you can see.
3. Lower Simulation Distance if your world is busy with farms or mobs.
4. Set Max Framerate to match your monitor so your GPU doesn't work harder than needed.
5. Turn off VSync if you notice input lag, or turn it on if you see screen tearing.
Adjust the Shader Side
1. Open your loader's shader menu:
- Iris: Shader Packs
- OptiFine: Shaders
2. With VynixShader selected, open the pack's settings screen if it offers one.
3. Look for options tied to the pack's heaviest features, which are shadows and reflections. Step their quality down one level at a time.
4. Test in a demanding spot after each change, such as a dense forest or a large build with lots of shadow detail.
Work in small steps. VynixShader's look depends mostly on soft lighting, so you can trim detail a little and keep most of its polished feel.
