Turn On Vix Enchanced Vibrant Shaders with Iris or OptiFine
Vix Enchanced Vibrant Shaders is a shader pack, not a resource pack. It only works through a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine. If neither is installed, the pack does nothing.
Put the pack in the right folder
1. Launch Minecraft with your shader loader profile selected.
2. Open Options > Video Settings. With Iris, click Shader Packs. With OptiFine, click Shaders.
3. Click the button that opens the shader pack folder. This is the shaderpacks folder, not resourcepacks.
4. Drop the pack file into that folder. Leave it as a .zip and do not extract it.
5. Go back to the game. The pack should now appear in the list. If it doesn't, close and reopen the shader menu.
Activate it and check the result
1. Click Vix Enchanced Vibrant Shaders in the list to select it.
2. Click Apply (Iris) or Done (OptiFine). The screen may freeze for a moment while the shaders compile. This is normal.
3. Load a world in daylight and look around a biome you know well.
You should see brighter, cleaner lighting and more colorful scenery, while the world still looks recognisably vanilla.
To turn the pack off, return to the same menu. Select Off (Iris) or (internal) (OptiFine), then apply. Switching between the two is a quick way to compare the look and the framerate.
