Make Biomes Look More Vibrant with Color Saturation
Access Shader Color Settings
Open your shader options menu from the pause screen. Look for color, saturation, or vibrancy controls—these are typically grouped together in the display or visual settings section.
Increase Color Saturation
Locate the saturation slider and increase it gradually. Vivid Radiant Lighting already applies rich color tones by default, but you can push saturation further if you want biomes to feel even more distinct:
- Forests become deeper greens
- Deserts glow with warmer oranges and golds
- Ocean biomes show more vivid blues and teals
- Nether displays more intense reds and purples
Fine-Tune for Your Preference
Small adjustments (5-10% increases) usually look best. Extreme saturation can make colors look unnatural. Test your changes by visiting different biomes and checking how grass, water, and stone respond.
Reset if Needed
If colors become oversaturated, most shader packs include a reset option to restore default values. You can then make smaller, more careful adjustments.
