Adjust Shader Intensity and Visual Quality

Access Shader Settings

Press the shader settings key (usually O by default, but check your controls) while in-game to open the shader configuration menu. This menu lets you fine-tune how intense the cinematic effects appear.

Common Adjustments

Lighting Intensity: Reduce this if days feel too bright or nights too dark. Increase it to make the cinematic look more pronounced.

Water Reflections: Toggle reflection quality up or down depending on your performance. Higher settings show more detailed reflections on water surfaces.

Shadow Detail: Adjust shadow softness and depth. Lower settings improve performance on older hardware while maintaining the cinematic look.

Weather Effects: Control how dramatically rain and storms affect lighting and visibility. Dial this down if weather changes feel too extreme.

Performance vs. Quality

If you experience lag, start by lowering water reflection quality and shadow detail. The cinematic lighting itself has minimal performance impact. Test each change and close the menu to see results in real-time. Your settings save automatically.
