How to Turn On Valtique Shaders with Iris
Valtique Shaders is a shader pack. It runs through Iris, so it is not loaded like a mod or a resource pack. If Iris is already installed, you only need to place the pack and select it.
Put the Pack in the Right Folder
1. Launch Minecraft with your Iris profile.
2. Open Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs.
3. Click the button that opens the shader pack folder. This opens the shaderpacks folder inside your game directory.
4. Drop the Valtique Shaders file into that folder. Leave it zipped. Do not put it in resourcepacks or mods, because it will not load from there.
Select and Apply It
1. Go back to the Shader Packs screen. Valtique Shaders should now appear in the list.
2. Click it, then press Apply or Done.
3. Load a world and look around. You should see warm sepia tones, film grain and faint scratches over the screen. Bright light sources should have a soft bloom glow.
Your block textures will still look like vanilla. That is intended. The pack only changes post-processing filters, not the textures, so a grassy hill still looks like a grassy hill, just filmed on old stock.
If the screen looks completely unchanged, return to the Shader Packs menu. Check that shaders are enabled and that Valtique Shaders is the selected pack. To go back to normal visuals, pick the option to turn shaders off in the same menu.
