Adjust the Vintage Film Look: Sepia, Grain, Scratches and Bloom
Out of the box, Valtique Shaders gives the world an aged, cinematic feel with four effects:
- Warm sepia color grading
- Film grain
- Subtle scratches across the screen
- Soft bloom around bright light sources
Some players want the full old-movie experience. Others want a lighter touch for long survival sessions.

Pick a Style
Full silent-film mood: Leave the sepia grade, grain and scratches on. Add the letterbox bars and lens distortion as well. This look suits story builds, abandoned ruins and screenshots.
Everyday survival: If grain or scratches distract you while mining or fighting, see whether the settings let you reduce or disable them. Keep the sepia grade and bloom for atmosphere without visual noise.
Night and caves: Bloom makes torches, lanterns and lava glow softly, which helps you spot light sources in the dark. Keep it on if you play underground a lot.
After each change, apply it and look at a sunny area and a dark area. Grading and grain can feel very different depending on brightness. If you end up with a look you dislike, revisit the settings and switch the effects back on one by one until it feels right.
