Fix ThaiGlowLite Not Showing Up or Not Changing Anything
If ThaiGlowLite isn't working, the cause is almost always the loader or the file location rather than the pack itself. Work through these checks in order.
The Pack Isn't in the List
1. Confirm a loader is installed. Without Iris or OptiFine, there is no Shader Packs screen at all.
2. Check the folder. The zip must sit in .minecraft/shaderpacks, not in resourcepacks. Shader packs placed in the resource pack folder won't load.
3. Don't nest it. If you unzipped the file, or the zip sits inside another folder, move the original .zip directly into shaderpacks.
4. Refresh the list. Close the Shader Packs screen and reopen it, or restart the game.
The World Looks Exactly Like Vanilla
1. Open the Shader Packs screen and make sure ThaiGlowLite is highlighted, not Off or internal. Then click Apply.
2. If you use Iris, check that you haven't toggled shaders off with the shader keybind.
3. ThaiGlowLite keeps a vanilla-like style, so the changes are intentionally gentle. Compare at sunset or in a cave, where the softer shadows and glows are easiest to notice.
Black Screen, Flickering, or Crashes
- Make sure your loader matches the Minecraft version you're playing.
- Update your graphics drivers.
- Temporarily remove other mods that change rendering, then add them back one at a time to find a conflict.
- Test with shaders off. If the problem disappears, re-select ThaiGlowLite and apply it again.
