Enjoy Realistic Sunsets and Sky Colors
Experience Dynamic Lighting
Sublime Visuals automatically creates realistic sunsets as the sun moves across the sky. You don't need to configure anything—simply play through a full day-night cycle and watch the colors change. The sky will shift from bright blue during the day to warm oranges and reds during sunset, then to deep purples and blacks at night.
Enhance Your Sunset Experience
To get the best view of sunsets:
- Find high ground — Climb a tall mountain or build a tower to see the full sky without terrain blocking your view
- Reduce clouds — If clouds are too dense, they'll obscure the sunset colors. Adjust cloud settings in your shader options if available
- Time your visit — Sunsets occur around the same time each Minecraft day, so plan to be in an open area when sunset approaches
- Disable other mods — Some mods that modify the sky may conflict with the shader's sunset effects
The realistic lighting will also make your base look beautiful during golden hour, casting long shadows and warm light across your builds.
