Taking Trailer-Style Screenshots with Simply Super Shaders

This pack is designed to recreate the bright, clean look of the official animated game trailers and promotional banners. With a little setup, your screenshots can capture that same feel.

Set the scene

1. Pick daytime. The pack's warm sunlight and clear skies are its signature, so midday or late morning works best.

2. Pick clear weather. Rain hides the clear atmospheric sky the pack provides.

3. Include water. A lake, river or ocean in the frame shows off the pack's clean water surfaces.

4. Use a colorful biome. The pack gives every biome a warm look. Flower fields, beaches and forests make the bright colors stand out.

Frame and capture

1. Press F1 to hide the HUD, hotbar and crosshair. This gives you a clean, banner-like image.

2. Press F5 to switch camera views if you want your character in the shot.

3. Lower your field of view in Options for a flatter, poster-style composition. Raise it for sweeping landscapes.

4. Press F2 to save the screenshot. Images go to the screenshots folder in your game directory.

5. Press F1 again to bring your HUD back.

For a promotional feel, keep the frame uncluttered. Try a single build, a clear sky and some water reflecting the light.
