Customize Colored Lighting Effects for Different Biomes
Understand Colored Lighting
Simple Brightness Shaders applies tinted light based on biome characteristics—warm tones in deserts and savannas, cool tones in snowy areas, and green-tinted light in forests. These effects blend naturally with vanilla colors.
Access Color Settings
Open Shader Options and find controls for:
- Biome Color Influence – Adjusts how much biome-specific tints affect lighting
- Light Color Saturation – Controls how vivid or muted the colored highlights appear
- Warm/Cool Balance – Some shaders let you shift the overall color temperature
Test Across Biomes
Visit different environments—jungles, oceans, mountains, and nether-like areas—to see how lighting adapts. Increase saturation if colors feel too subtle; decrease it if the world looks oversaturated.
Fine-Tune to Preference
Remember that colored lighting is meant to enhance vanilla aesthetics, not replace them. Adjust until lighting feels natural and enhances block visibility without clashing with your texture pack or personal style.
