Enhance Water and Reflections

Locate Reflection Settings

In Shader Options, find controls for water reflections, reflection quality, or surface reflections. Serene Zen Lighting includes smooth reflection rendering as a core feature.

Increase Reflection Detail

Raise the reflection quality or resolution slider to make water surfaces more mirror-like and responsive to the environment. Higher values create clearer reflections of the sky, terrain, and structures. This is especially striking at sunset or sunrise when warm lighting interacts with water.

Adjust Water Transparency and Color

Some shader packs let you control water clarity and tint. Experiment with these to match your world's aesthetic—clearer water shows reflections better, while tinted water can enhance the peaceful, Eastern-inspired mood.

Test in Different Locations

Visit oceans, rivers, lakes, and rain to see how reflections behave across water types. The shader's colored lighting effects will make reflected light sources appear on water surfaces, creating a cohesive, immersive look that enhances both survival gameplay and screenshot opportunities.
