Adjust Water Realism and Wave Intensity
Customize Water Appearance
Serene Glowing Skies lets you fine-tune how water looks and moves. Access the shader settings through your shader control menu (usually opened with a key like O or through video settings, depending on your loader).
Finding Water Settings
Look for options labeled "Water," "Waves," or "Refraction." These control:
- Wave height: How pronounced the surface undulation appears
- Wave speed: How quickly water surfaces animate
- Refraction strength: How much light bends through water, affecting clarity
- Reflection quality: Whether water mirrors the sky and terrain
Making Adjustments
Start with default values. If waves feel too aggressive, reduce wave height or speed. For clearer underwater visibility, increase refraction or disable reflections. If water looks too flat, boost wave intensity. Changes apply instantly—test in oceans, rivers, and ponds to see the full effect. Remember that lower values improve frame rates on less powerful systems.
