Adjust Shader Brightness and Lighting for Your Playstyle

Access Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your controls menu under Video Settings > Shaders). Look for the Rivet Lite Animatic 1 configuration panel.

Customize Lighting Intensity

Locate the brightness and lighting sliders. The shader includes adjustable fantasy lighting that affects daytime and nighttime visibility differently. Increase brightness if caves feel too dark, or reduce it if the anime glow feels overwhelming.

Fine-Tune Shadow Softness

Find the shadow settings—Rivet Lite keeps shadows soft to maintain performance, but you can adjust their intensity. Softer shadows enhance the anime aesthetic, while slightly harder shadows add more depth without tanking frame rates.

Test Your Changes

Move between different biomes and times of day to see how your adjustments look. The colorful fantasy tones should feel balanced with vanilla blocks. Save your preferred settings so they persist across sessions.

Performance Tip

If you're on lower-end hardware and notice frame drops after adjusting settings, reduce shadow intensity first—it has the biggest performance impact while maintaining the shader's signature look.
