Troubleshoot Common RealisticLite Issues
Shader Won't Load or Game Crashes
Ensure Iris is installed and up to date. RealisticLite cannot run without it. Verify the shader file is in the correct shaderpacks folder and hasn't been corrupted during download. Try deleting and re-downloading the shader file.
Extreme Lag or Frame Drops
RealisticLite is lightweight, but if you experience severe lag, your system may be at its limit. Reduce shadow distance, resolution, or other quality settings in the shader menu. Lower your Minecraft render distance if the shader settings alone don't help.
Shadows Look Wrong or Flicker
This can happen if shadow distance is set too high for your hardware. Reduce the shadow distance value in shader settings. If flickering persists, try disabling and re-enabling the shader through the video settings menu.
Vanilla Look Isn't Preserved
RealisticLite is designed to enhance vanilla aesthetics, not replace them. If the shader looks too different, check that you're not using conflicting resource packs or other shaders simultaneously. Disable any other visual mods and test RealisticLite alone.
