Adjusting Shader Settings for Your Hardware
Finding the Settings Menu
Once the shader pack is active in your Minecraft client, access shader options through the Video Settings menu. Look for a button labeled "Shaders" or similar—this opens the shader configuration panel where all Radiant Atmospheric Glow settings live.
Choosing Your Performance Profile
The shader pack includes multiple preset profiles designed for different hardware tiers. Select from potato (lowest-end systems), low, medium, high, and ultra profiles. Each profile scales bloom intensity, shadow detail, fog quality, and colored lighting effects accordingly.
If your game stutters or feels sluggish, drop to a lower profile. If you have headroom and want richer visuals, try stepping up. You can also fine-tune individual settings after selecting a base profile—for example, reducing bloom while keeping shadow quality high.
Testing Your Changes
After adjusting settings, load into a world and spend a few minutes exploring different environments: caves (to check shadow depth), forests (to see foliage refresh), and open sky (to observe sun colors and atmospheric fog). This helps you confirm the settings feel smooth and look good before settling on them.
