Preserve Vanilla Aesthetics While Using Colored Lighting
Keep Block Textures Unmodified
PS Vibe Shaders doesn't change block models or textures—it only affects lighting. Your builds will look exactly like vanilla Minecraft, just with warmer, more vibrant illumination. No resource pack needed unless you want additional changes.
Balance Colored Light Saturation
To maintain vanilla feel, avoid maxing out color intensity. Reduce saturation slightly so colored lights enhance rather than dominate the scene. Torches should look like torches, not neon signs.
Use Vanilla Light Sources Only
Stick to torches, lanterns, soul lanterns, and glow blocks for lighting. These are recognizable vanilla elements that work naturally with the shader's warm-tone philosophy.
Disable Extreme Visual Effects
If the shader includes bloom, lens flare, or heavy shadow effects, disable these to keep the classic look. The core colored lighting is what makes PS Vibe Shaders special—you don't need extra effects.
Compare Before and After
Toggle the shader on and off occasionally to remind yourself of vanilla lighting. This helps you tune settings so the shader enhances your world without making it feel like a completely different game.
