Optimize Shader Performance on Low-End Systems
Reduce Render Distance
PS Vibe Shaders is designed for low-end hardware, but performance depends on your world settings. Lower your render distance to 8-12 chunks if you experience lag. This reduces the number of lit blocks the shader must process each frame.
Disable Optional Visual Features
Check the shader settings for toggles like shadow quality, reflections, or advanced lighting calculations. Disabling these features won't remove the colored lighting but will free up GPU resources.
Adjust Particle and Entity Lighting
If the shader includes options for entity shadows or particle lighting effects, disable these on potato setups. They add visual polish but aren't essential to the core colored-lighting experience.
Monitor Frame Rate
Use F3 (or your debug screen) to watch FPS while exploring. If you drop below your target frame rate, reduce render distance further or lower the shader's quality preset if one exists.
Pair with Optimization Mods
Consider using performance-focused mods alongside PS Vibe Shaders to maximize stability without sacrificing the visual improvements the shader provides.
