Turn On OZZA Shaders and Confirm It's Working

OZZA Shaders is a shader pack, so it runs through a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine. If the world still looks like vanilla Minecraft, the pack is probably installed but not selected.

Selecting the Pack

1. Launch Minecraft with your shader loader active.

2. Open Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs.

3. If OZZA Shaders is not in the list, click the button that opens the shaderpacks folder and place the pack file there. Return to the menu and it should appear.

4. Click OZZA Shaders so it is highlighted, then click Apply or Done.

5. The screen may freeze briefly.

Checking That It Loaded

Load into a world and look for the changes the pack makes:

  • Lighting should look brighter and cleaner than vanilla in every biome.
  • Soft shadows should appear on the ground under trees, hills and your own builds.
  • Water should show gentle waves and transparency, and it should reflect the sky.
  • The sky should have clearer color tones during both day and night.

If you see none of these, reopen the Shader Packs menu and check that OZZA Shaders is still selected. Also make sure shaders are not switched off in your loader. To compare the look with vanilla, select the "Off" or "None" option, then switch back.
