Turn On NyxaVora Shaders in Your Game
If NyxaVora Shaders is already on your computer, you only need to activate it through your shader loader. Shaders do not work through the regular Resource Packs menu. They need a loader such as Iris or OptiFine.
Put the Pack in the Right Folder
1. Open your Minecraft game directory.
2. Find the shaderpacks folder. Your loader creates this folder the first time it runs. Do not use the resourcepacks folder.
3. Place the NyxaVora Shaders file inside shaderpacks. Leave it zipped unless it is already a folder.
Activate It In-Game
1. Launch Minecraft with your shader loader.
2. Go to Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs. On Iris you can also reach this screen through the Options menu.
3. Click NyxaVora Shaders in the list to select it.
4. Click Apply or Done. The screen may freeze briefly while the shader loads.
Check That It Worked
Load a world and look around. With the shader active, the landscape should look brighter and more colorful, and the lighting should feel softer. Your blocks should still be easy to recognize, because the shader keeps the original textures clear.
If nothing changed, go back to the Shader Packs screen and make sure NyxaVora Shaders is highlighted rather than Off or None. Also confirm that you launched the game with your loader profile and not plain vanilla.
