Optimize Water Reflections and Clarity

Enable Reflective Water Effects

NOISE transforms water into a reflective surface that mirrors the sky and surrounding blocks. This happens automatically once the shader is active—you'll notice water surfaces now show realistic reflections instead of flat textures.

To see reflections most clearly, stand near water during daytime or near bright light sources. Look at the water surface at different angles; you should see the sky and nearby terrain reflected back at you.

Improve Visibility in Water

If underwater visibility feels too dark or murky, check your render distance and brightness settings. NOISE darkens underwater areas for realism, so you may need to place torches or lanterns to navigate underwater bases clearly.

For the best reflective effect, avoid using resource packs that drastically change water textures. NOISE works best with vanilla or minimally-modified water appearance. If reflections seem weak, verify that your graphics card drivers are up to date, as shader performance depends on GPU capabilities.
