Combine No More Brightness Shaders with Resource Packs
Load Resource Packs Alongside the Shader
No More Brightness Shaders works independently of resource packs. You can enable both simultaneously—the shader handles lighting while your resource pack handles textures, models, and UI changes. Load your resource pack normally through Options → Resource Packs, then enable the shader through Video Settings → Shaders.
Compatibility Considerations
The shader preserves vanilla aesthetics, so it pairs well with most resource packs. However, packs that significantly alter lighting or add custom shaders may conflict. If you experience visual glitches, try disabling other shader-related mods or resource packs.
Test the Combination
After enabling both, spend time in different lighting conditions—daytime, caves, and indoors—to ensure they work together smoothly. The shader should soften daylight while your resource pack's textures remain clear and visible.
Most vanilla-style resource packs work flawlessly with this shader, making it easy to customize your world's appearance without sacrificing eye comfort.
