How to Turn On Neon Reverie Shaders in Your Game
Neon Reverie Shaders is a shader pack, so it runs through a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine. It does not work from the resource packs menu. If you already have the pack file and a loader installed, these steps switch it on.
Put the Pack in the Right Folder
1. Launch Minecraft with your shader loader active.
2. Go to Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs. Some loaders label this simply Shaders.
3. Click Open Shader Pack Folder. This opens the shaderpacks folder inside your game directory.
4. Drag the Neon Reverie Shaders file into that folder. Leave it as a zip unless your loader specifically asks for an unpacked folder.
5. Return to the game. The pack should now appear in the list.
Activate It and Check It's Working
1. Select Neon Reverie Shaders in the list and click Apply or Done.
2. The screen may freeze briefly, which is normal.
3. Load a world and look around. A working pack shows these signs:
- Clean shadows under trees and blocks in daylight.
- Leaves and grass swaying gently.
- A colorful, star-filled sky after sunset.
If the world still looks like plain vanilla, reopen the Shader Packs screen and confirm the pack is highlighted as the active one. If it isn't in the list at all, make sure the file went into shaderpacks and not resourcepacks.
