How to Switch Back to Normal Colors (and Toggle the Tint Quickly)
The green tint applies to everything on screen. Sometimes you will want true vanilla colors for a moment, for example to judge a block palette or take a normal-looking screenshot. Because the pack runs through the vanilla pipeline, you can switch it off from the pack menu without uninstalling anything.
Turning the tint off
1. Press Esc and open Options.
2. Click Resource Packs....
3. In the Selected list on the right, hover over It's 25 Greener! Shaders.
4. Click the arrow to move it back to the Available list.
5. Click Done and let the game reload.
Your world returns to standard colors right away. Your builds and items are untouched, because the pack only affects visuals.
Turning it back on
Repeat the steps and move the pack back into Selected. Nothing needs to be reinstalled. The file stays in your resourcepacks folder the whole time.
Tips for frequent toggling
- Each reload takes a moment, and longer if you run many packs. Toggle in a safe spot, not mid-fight or while falling.
- If you want screenshots both ways, take the green shot first. Then disable the pack and take the same view again for a side-by-side comparison.
- Keep the pack in your
resourcepacksfolder even when unused. It will be one click away whenever you want the quirky green look again.
