How to Fix the Green Tint Not Showing or Looking Wrong

If you enabled It's 25 Greener! Shaders but the world looks normal, or only partly green, work through these checks. The pack runs on Minecraft's built-in vanilla graphics pipeline, so most problems come down to pack menus and settings.

Basic checks

1. Open Options > Resource Packs... and confirm the pack is in the Selected list, not Available.

2. Make sure the file is directly inside your resourcepacks folder, not buried in an extra subfolder. Use Open Pack Folder to check.

3. After any change, click Done and let the game finish reloading before judging the result.

Conflicts with other packs and mods

  • Pack order matters. Packs higher in the Selected list override those below. If another pack also changes the game's shaders or visuals, move It's 25 Greener! Shaders to the top and test again.
  • Test it alone. Temporarily disable every other resource pack. If the tint appears, re-add your packs one at a time to find the one that clashes.
  • Shader loaders. You do not need Iris or OptiFine for this pack. If you use one and have a separate shader pack active in it, that can take over rendering and hide vanilla-pipeline effects. Turn the loader's shader pack off and check again.

Confirming the fix

Look at the sky, a mob and an item in your hand. The tint should cover all of them, not only terrain.
