Configure Volumetric Fog and Atmosphere
Locating Fog Settings
In the shader configuration menu, find volumetric fog or atmospheric effects options. These control how fog appears in your world, especially during rain, snow, and at different times of day.
Adjusting Fog Density and Distance
Fog density determines how thick the fog appears. Higher values create more dramatic, atmospheric fog that reduces visibility—useful for creating moody scenes or during storms. Lower values keep the world more visible. Fog distance controls how far you can see before fog obscures terrain; increase it for clearer long-distance views.
Weather and Time-Based Fog
Many shader configurations automatically intensify fog during rain and snow. Check if there are separate sliders for weather-based fog intensity. You can also adjust how fog appears at sunrise, sunset, and night—these times often have unique atmospheric coloring.
