Combine Fabulous VHS Shaders with Other Mods

Compatibility Considerations

Fabulous VHS Shaders works alongside most Minecraft mods, but shader interactions require care.

Safe to combine with: Mods that add blocks, items, mobs, or gameplay mechanics (like new dimensions or tools). The shader only affects visuals, not game logic.

Avoid combining with: Other shader packs or visual enhancement mods. Running multiple shaders simultaneously causes conflicts and crashes.

Testing Compatibility

1. Install Fabulous VHS Shaders first

2. Add one new mod at a time

3. Launch the game and check for crashes or visual glitches

4. If stable, add another mod

If you encounter issues after adding a mod, disable the shader to isolate whether the problem is shader-related or caused by the new mod itself.

Note: Some mods that heavily modify rendering (like minimap or custom HUD mods) may display oddly under the VHS filter. This is usually cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay.
