Adjust Shader Settings for Better Performance

Access the Shader Menu

Press the Shader Options button in the Video Settings menu while the shader is active. This opens a panel with toggles and sliders specific to Danix Low End Shaders.

Key Settings to Tweak

Shadow Quality: Reduce shadow resolution or disable shadow mapping entirely if you're experiencing frame drops. Softer shadows still look good at lower settings.

Water Reflections: Toggle realistic water reflections off to gain 5–10 FPS. The water will still look improved compared to vanilla, but without the reflection overhead.

Lighting Detail: Lower the ambient lighting calculation intensity if caves feel too dark or bright. This affects how quickly light spreads through your world.

Cloud Rendering: Disable volumetric clouds if they cause stuttering during flight or when looking at the sky.

Test and Save

Make one change at a time and play for 2–3 minutes to measure the impact. Once you find a balance between visuals and frame rate, your settings persist automatically. You can always revert to defaults from the same menu.
