Toggling the Shader On and Off

Cursed Metamorphopsia Shaders can be toggled without restarting your game. Access your shader settings through the Video Settings menu, then locate the Shaders option. You'll see a list of available shaders—select Cursed Metamorphopsia to activate it, or choose "Off" to disable the distortion effect entirely.

Quick Toggle During Gameplay

If your shader mod supports a keybind for toggling shaders, you can press the designated key (often configurable in Controls settings) to switch the effect on and off instantly. This is useful if the distortion becomes uncomfortable during extended play sessions or when you need to see the world clearly for precise building.

Performance Considerations

If you experience lag or stuttering with the shader active, try disabling it temporarily to confirm it's the cause. The mod is designed to be lightweight, but older systems may still benefit from turning it off during demanding tasks like large-scale construction or when playing on servers with many players.
